“中國機械工程學會生產工程分會”，成立于1963年，目前設有9個專業委員會，分別是：切削專業委員會、磨粒專業委員會、機床專業委員會、測試技術專業委員會、生產系統專業委員會、精密工程與納米技術專業委員會、齒輪制造專業委員會、模具制造專業委員會、光整加工專業委員會。設有 6個工作委員會：學術委員會、組織委員會、科技咨詢工作委員會（技術咨詢交流工程中心）、青年工作委員會、企業工作委員會和編輯出版工作委員會。圍繞著咨詢服務、專業培訓、展覽展示、技術交流及專業書刊編輯等多種組織形式，為我國機械裝備制造業企業、科研院所及高等院校服務。
